Today was the day that we had arranged for Richard Young, Solo Building Services, to start installing a new kitchen, my operation was planned for the 18thof June, 4 days after we had started to have the new kitchen fitted.
Denise did ask should we cancel this, my unspoken response was 'Whatever happens we or at least you will require a new kitchen.'
The date of surgery (18th June) was a poor choice of date as the day after, 19th June Denise and I were off to London to see ‘Only Fools and Horses’ a present from our daughters, such bad planning!
At this stage of my journey we had told our daughters that I was going into QA for further investigation for a 'Bladder Infection' and we would let them know the outcome.
