A follow up appointment with Dr Choudhry (Highlands Practice Fareham), http://www.thehighlandspractice.co.uk during which my cycling was briefly discussed and it was thought that this increased physical activity and the cycling position when on a 'road bike' may have contributed to the haematuria. Yet another urine test was carried out as it was still very cloudy and very strong smelling. I have likened the odour to that of the ‘gents’ in a busy pub at 10pm on a Saturday night.
It was during this consultation Dr Choudhry said ‘I am going to refer you to the Urology Unit at Queen Alexandria Hospital https://www.porthosp.nhs.uk/Find-us/getting-to-qa-hospital.htm in Cosham just in case there is anything naughty going on down below.’
