Cycle Training and Haematuria

Things had been going very well. Prior to going training (to coach swimming) I experienced my first “Haematuria” to us non-medical people that is ‘Blood in the Urine.’  A visit to the out of hours surgery at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital resulted in being informed that I had a bladder or urinary tract infection; a course of anti-biotics would soon clear this up.
